About Me

I've worked as a strategist, coach, and facilitator in communication, branding, and innovation for over thirty years. I launched my career in finance and marketing before pursuing an MBA in marketing and strategy. Working on both on the client-side and agency-side, I’ve had the privilege to work in world-class marketing organizations, such as Unilever, BBDO and Redscout. In 2006, I founded Lila & Company, a branding and coaching firm.

My breadth of consulting and coaching experience includes working in diverse industries such as food and beverage, health, media, technology, and non-profit. My clients have included: Kenvue, SC Johnson, PepsiCo, Mercy Corps Northwest, and the American Civil Liberties Union. I have a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and I was trained in strengths-based coaching by Erickson Coaching International. I am an Associate Certified Coach and a member of the International Coaching Federation.

My Story

During my climb up the corporate ladder, I began questioning how I wanted to show up as a leader. This questioning led me on a journey within to discover who I was at my core. During this journey, I began integrating the practice of mindfulness into my daily life, focusing on cultivating my self-awareness, and nurturing my creative writing. I also mined my story for my hidden strengths and explored how my experiences and identity shaped my stories. All of these pursuits helped me became a more heart-centered leader. I have done the hard work myself (and continue to grow), and am excited to accompany you along this important journey.
